As part of the virtual heart scan consultation, you might be interested in a second read of your scan. Well, what does that mean? It means you can engage me to personally look at your scan images. 

Most CT scans for the heart in Australia are reported by a single doctor. I'm putting to you that I second read might just bring extra accuracy and may mean that features that could have been missed are picked up. So, two sets of eyes are better than one. 

The other reason you might be interested in having me give a second rate on your scan is that I've looked at somewhere around 3000 people; looking at that individual, looking at their scan, and then making a management plan for them based on what I've seen.

So I've really got a sense of experience in that space. So if you want that experience brought to your scan, then I'm happy to provide that. Lastly I will look at your scan while I've got my iPhone with me and I'll take it quick video showing you the salient points of your scan and explaining why I think or am recommending a particular intensity of therapy for your future cardiovascular risk mitigation.

So, we email you a referral to a local service provider. If you're using someone else, I don't have the ability to get hold of those images easily.
